Steve Jobs Stanford Commencement Speech 2005

The speech from Steve Jobs of what have made him today totally impressed me. We have some bad incidents at moment now. It is tempering in my life. Those incidents which we may feel great appreciation for many years later. It was an awful tasting medicine, but I guess the patient needed it. Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don't lose faith. We must do something, even though I don’t like do stuff and I don’t know whether it is useful or not in the future. We have to trust in something. You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.
